A friend is worth his weight in gold,
That is what they say?
The tale is as deep as it is old
But not on this day

For on this day my friend has left me
I am lost and all alone
That is the way it must be
To pain, my heart is prone

How sad to lose a friend on Valentine’s Day
Did I mean nothing to you?
I gave love and this is how you repay
What am I supposed to do?

You have broken my heart, my former friend
So to you, this scornful Valentine, I send
May it bring you pain as you have brought to me
For all eternity...
