Same Time Next Year

We decided to sell my house and all move into Mel's place. They were both bigger and older but well-kept houses. It was better to get away from the things that Trina had bought. We had an auction and sold most of the furnishings and of course the house. The kids were as happy as can be, all getting new bedroom suites.

The insurance checks arrived and we put the kids' money each in it's own account for their future. It was the last we heard about the accident. We did read that Senator Conroy was re-elected by a wide margin. Apparently there was a big sympathy vote.

It just goes to show you that life may throw you a lot of curve balls but every once in awhile, if you hit it just right, you'll hit a home run. That's the way it was for us.

I never did have the kids tested but I did keep Zack's information in the safe. Maybe some day when I get old I might get brave and get the comparison tests done. Right now all I need is for any one of my kids to run in and give me a big hug and call me Daddy to know I made the right decision.
