The Age Of Mountains

Before the men from naked dust rose
The range of mountains was old
Raised by the twisting of stone
Both fiery and cold

When the older races tread the surface
The mountains were already old too
And the passage of the dinosaurs
They held in their view

And also today, they look down on us
So slowly only days have passed
And ponder our damage to the world
