I read for pleasure and learning what works and what doesn't along the way.
Mostly, what works is what gets me interested, then hooked, then excited and if it really hits the spot, I'll rate it highly or even add it to my favourites. If it really takes me over the edge, I might even leave a comment, or contact the author. The latter is a rare thing indeed as I am essentially very private and almost paranoid about it. Those that I do contact are ones that I feel as if I have made a telepathic or mental connection with them, through their work. They may be completely different people but their work says something to me about them.
My Favourites list doesn't necessarily reflect my interests outside of Literotica, but merely my appreciation of the story for what it is; i.e. a piece of good erotic literature. I don't condone, wish to promote, or otherwise any of the content in the stories outside the realm of pure erotic literature.
In real life I've had my fair share of Erotic experiences - that are all above board and legit, if not always vanilla. Those experiences form the basis of my inspiration and where they fall short, my fantasies either fill in the gaps or extrapolate to where I wished they would go. However, should I, one day, post a story on here, it will purely be a work of fiction.
