I would like to give something back to the community, and my ability to read and give what I hope to be meaningful feedback is for now the best I can do. I am working on a long tale of my own to post here down the road, but before I reach out to others to give me feedback, I'd like to provide the same to others. I'm not a professional editor or writer (of anything but computer code). I do, however, have a pretty good grasp of English grammar and vocabulary, and a sense of how stories are constructed to create tension and interest from users. I don't have huge numbers of hours available so I would like to start with well defined chunks of text for now, not a full 200K word novel to review in one go. The level of grammatical feedback (like grading a term paper) I can provide is also still a little bit in the air, depending on how much effort it takes, and how much a given work requires. Beta-reader feedback responding to characterization, technique, tension, plot holes, feasibility, consistency, pov, tense, tone, dialog, etc. are all available. I'll do as much as I can in terms of grammar and spelling within my time constraints. Looking forward to meeting you all.
