I'm part of the editor program because I enjoy engaging with writers and their work. I’ve been a professional writer and copy editor, as well as a writing tutor and teacher. I’m also a dominant who knows how BDSM relationships work in real life. I can do detailed line-edits and grammatical corrections, but I prefer to engage with your story and characters, discussing flow, concept and structure. I have worked for US and UK publications, so I can edit in either flavo(u)r of English. If you write in dialect I’ll be less able to edit for grammar/spelling, but can still work with you on plot, theme or structure. See my posted work for the kind of work I'm most interested in. I place an emphasis on good writing, emotion and creation of believable characters. I enjoy working with first-time authors. I prefer submissions in text or Markdown. I can work with Word documents but I filter them to remove everything but the most basic formatting. For this kind of work I do not use collaborative editors (eg Google Docs).
