I've been referred to in the past as "harsh, but fair." You know what? That's harsh, but fair. Let me get all up in your story's guts -- not sexually, but surgically. Here are some brief points to bear in mind: 1) check your spam folder after submitting a request. You won't know my email address, and neither will your email service/programs; 2) as long as you make a good faith attempt to follow the site's rules, I will not discriminate against your piece based on its content. If it's incredibly long, we'll have to chat about scheduling, but that's it; 3) while I prefer to do full-press editing passes, I can also work as a simple proofreader if you're not interested in deeper feedback; 4) if I catch you committing plagiarism, we're all done immediately, and I WILL contact the author I suspect you've plagiarized from. 5) all of my volunteer editing work is done with the expectation that your work will be released for free on Literotica.com -- either exclusively, or well prior to any commercial/compensated/Patreon release. It's a simple rule: if I edit your work for free, then people get to read your work for free. It seems fair to me; 6) please submit all requests via this Volunteer Editor Board. I do not respond to messages on the Lit.com forums.
