Declaración de Perfil:
I was recently (12-2) advised by a leading editing ap. that can be reached at grammarlydottcom that I was their fifth largest user. I have edited over 100,000 words for the month of November. I am raring to go for another big month in December all the way through the spring.
My experience as a writer of memoirs, non-fiction, and fiction have seemingly lead me to volunteer to learn more about editing (for my writing).
If you are willing to allow an amateur to edit spelling, grammar, structure, story line, ideas, then maybe I can help. I just finished my 79th edit, and have found it interesting how I became interested in the writing, and not the story.
As a volunteer editor, one thing I learned very early is that there are no bad starts, only unfinished work to be perfected.
Two intents of editing for me were to see how I stacked up with other more brave publishing authors. The second intent was to assist others, through the experience I have gained as an incessant reader.
I started out editing as a way to see how I stacked up. I had not published any of my hundreds of stories, because:
I was afraid of the quality, (I am not trained to write).
I was afraid of the content, (I wanted to write ‘Nasty’ stories).
I was SURE, really sure, that I was unable to create understandable structure, (I was not sure I could communicate).
That was all over a year ago. Now it is 10-'17 and my experience now includes over 25 authors work proofed and or edited. I am ready now after 6 months away from editing and raring to work for you.
Let me help?
