My first and enduring impression is that the woman portrayed represents multiple images of woman as she has been depicted in multiple mythologies through time, from Pagan to Greek to the Judeo-Christian era. It has a wonderfully haunting dichotomy. I believe that MsMantis perceives creation through many more than the five senses most of us rely upon.
