A life less living
Freight trains of doubt screaming in
Taste of cold steel and gun oil so strong
And fear unforgiving

Harassing conditions
Seismic activity in the gray matter
Dark corridors and choices alike abound
With stark admissions

Lost and unfounded
     Wondering what might actually be
Shifting shapes of concrete shades alike
And dreams grounded

Respect

Your writing seems to encapsulate lots of trauma. Writing is a great way to purge, share, examine, and heal. I think a lot of Literotica poets (poets in general) are writing through their own PTSD. You've used some common metaphors but you've also put a quite lovely spin on some old word images. I see your writing, with time, getting no less than great. Props.
