black velvet
sliding like rain
caressing soft mounds
shifting to make way
and make day out of
black velvet night

sliding sleepy slowly
revelling ravishing
wonders of daylight
bright skin

straps finally
falling from shoulders
to release, reveal
what I achingly seek

but no, oh no

still clinging
to curves
by some magic
magnetic marvel
in those hallowed
hallucinogenic hips

you know
you know so well
how to capture
my soul my mind

how with nothing
but velvet bind
this heart to yours
forever and a day

with a slightest
of sighs
gravity conquer
your resistance
at last

and you
conquer me

Ooh, I was hoping you would submit this one

Glad you didn't let it languish on the threads. I know I'm a whore for alliteration, but DAYUM I love this poem.

An erotic and playful observation...

some wonderful wordplay and alliteration made this exciting to read, and the suspense of the velvet, suspended seemingly in air, to titilate a moment before falling was inspired. You have portrayed her mastery over you with your master wordplay. Well done.
