long smooth eucalyptus
gives up its summer’s skin
stripping as a pole dancer
the pale scented flesh below
turn to move in turns
with the hot summer winds
as long as limbs
slope reach and spin
towards touching
the holding of you
remember that
would you
that I am also your friend
the best at the best of times
at times I wish I was
the ever changing wind
who can embrace your dancing figure
and dare to touch you
without changing
your wild wicked ways
your spiteful feral eye
my only desire
is to laugh softly
in your ear

Another enjoyable read. I really like how you wrap it all up at the endings. That is always the hardest thing for me to do. You do it well.
