A bitter sea will crash against the cliff,
as hungry seagulls surf the foaming waves.
The sky is grey and dull; it can't uplift
a spirit so despondent. Rain behaves
as if it wants to drown her. Sea-swept salt
mingles with tears to lacerate the cheek
of one who finds herself surely at fault.
With all her future seemingly so bleak,
when the harsh gusts of wind blow her drenched hair,
they'll freeze her scalp and chill all that's exposed.
But this won't stir her coma - she won't care.
For raucous screams must willingly dispose
of any other theme of misery
that might distract from angst besides by the sea.

There are times in my life when I feel such desperation, and your description is phenomenal.
