Chasm between thoughts clear and empty
The gulf of if
The still null of potential never found
Of lost chance

Moment of diversion of decision of chance
Real cogs of fate
The worm gears that turn our reality engine
Gap of future

Everything not chosen shines bright
Proof of choice
Testament of the optional array
And guide

Glimpsed almost never to notice
Basic function
Overlooked part of automatic process
Yet powerful

There is something happening here

I just can't quite grasp it, I love the way it reads, I love the words you used

but the meaning is skimming out of reach, I'm not sure if that was your intent, however the skimming out of reach seems to be connected to the idea of the piece

"The chasms between thought"

it may be less jarring and much softer than normal but as always for me still impressive.

Can't believe this has no comments!

This is very interesting because the language is aesthetic and thoughtful, not jarring and crushing as in many of your other poems and yet in some ways it's a more powerful piece to me. I feel that you're writing about something I understand: the peaceful empty spaces between connections and what one might find there.

Great read. Thank you.
