Deeply in sorrow a broken heart wept
Torn and crushed till nothing was kept
Words of passion tossed about and denied
Until she had nothing, everything died
She sat there alone, weary and lost
Broken and tired from all it had cost
Finally down to the floor she did lay
Waiting for someone to take her away
Giving into the pain, losing the fight
No longer wanting to be so right
Closing her eyes on the pain in her past
Wanting a love, that would only last
Wishing she was silly and wrong
Hoping to go and be carried along
Hours she waited and tried not to cry
Time seemed to crawl, as minutes went by
Cascading Falls of salty tears
Run down a face so full of her fears
Showing the depth of a pain filled heart
Willing to change with one tiny start
He’s closed off the curtain and shut the door
Her words fall upon the cold hard floor
Making a mark, a tear stained streak
No more will her body lay down and be weak
Willful thoughts take her away
Farther she goes, further each day
Furrowing brow creases her face
Until peace surrounds her, in loving grace
come from a big heart! Thanks for sharing yourself with us.

This one ranks right up there with the darkest you've written. Lady when your blue you don't go halfway do you? Glad to hear you pulled yourself out of it after it was completed. It was your catharsis. Thank You. Ronnie W.
