Lying in the Grass, looking at the Stars
Her Dream is over, leaving her with scars
She looks for her Dream, finding a sad sigh
Wishing she were There, she searches the Sky
For an Answer

Why?
Why is she back here?
Why isn't she There?
Or Somewhere but here?
The Stars take her There
Momentarily

Was It worth It?
Didn't she have the Choice to stay?
If she could she'd return Today
She'd live through unbearable hell
The outcome only time will tell

We will only know
When the gunshots end

Life's tough choices; some imposed, some selected.
