I hate me; it's something more and something less.
It's nothing you could damn; nothing you could bless.
Alone with my own suffering,
While it poured from my very being.
Listen up! I'm just a whore;
I'm something less and something more.
Stroke my heart and pet my head
As you lull me into bed
With sweet nothings and hidden distress;
I'm the one left to clean up this mess.
No comforting heart nor gentle hand
With me, still here; unable to stand.
Stand up for me, for what's good and what's right?
I let you jade me without a fight.
The damage is far to spent
To bang out this "tiny" dent.
All I've done is try to repress
Because I'm nothing more and nothing less.
