I need warm fuzzy slippers
To put on my cold feet
I don't know just what to say
Except they would be neat

Somewhere I could put my feet
Before they hit the floor
They would be all that I need
I would not ask for more

I have my heavy dark green robe
It covers up each knee
Nice long sleeves for both my arms
It wraps so snug 'round me

And my brand new jammy pants
That go down to the floor
If I only has those slippers
I would not ask for more

Well, maybe just a little thing
A draft comes 'neath the door
Won't you please go fix it
Oh yeah, there's one thing more

Another log upon the fire
You'll need to start one first
And then a drink of water
Something to quench my thirst

That is all that I would ask
Oh wait, before you sit
Some cookies and a glass of milk
And than that will be it

Oh, now I need a napkin
There's milk on my mustache
And then please hit the ATM
I'm running low on cash

So I will ask for nothing more
My life is now complete
I have everything I need
But I still have COLD FEET

Cool poem

Liked the subtle repetition. It evoked someone tired and going in the kind of mental circles you go in when you're first awake or just about to go to sleep.
