Vladmir Putin wept
when Maggie Thatcher died
President Obama wept
Overtly the Cold War is no more
but covertly it survives evermore .........

my dear friend

the wars are hardly cold, an eye for an eye is our plague, and as in ancient times all parties seek justice on the severed limbs of the innocents pile high like victims in Hitler's ovens. What creature as horrid as man has ever walked our despoiled planet. If there is to be only war or sex, the two prime movers, you will find me in someone's arms hardly cold......

re: dear hugo chavez- we laud his efforts for the poor but not his systematic persecution of many others whom I know personally, including professionals who did not support him and were left jobless and worse requiring emigration to survive
