She'll love his generosity? He gives
her opportunities to entertain
herself in such a fashion, she may gain;
And every time she gains, he knows she lives;

Her life of sly excitements, that he sieves,
will offer her both pleasures and sweet pain;
And, through sieved suffering, she will remain
his toy, his pleasure pet, (whom he forgives);

Her range of sins? You could not contemplate,
unless you owned her every thought and move
(and held her hostage). This ensures she's free!

Freed up to serve and, thus, ingratiate
herself with his vicissitudes, she'll love
his irony in generosity.
