Snippets taken from times of woe
From times that seem so long ago

Only yesterday you held my heart
Our promise, was never for us to part
Such a lie with this much angst
I gave you my all, I took a chance

I'm left with nothing but despair
A broken soul, beyond repair
Regrets don't haunt, they only remind
of a love once cherished, yet burned in kind

A final unrelenting surrender
A plea, a barter for you to hinder

An oath too great, too solemnly true
I live, I breath,
I'd die for you

On my knees
I now earnestly
plea

Will you Lord DragonsWing
marry me?

A funny private joke?

I don't get it, but the recipient did, obviously!
