grey clouds grow,
droplets accumulate
and a cloud's shower crashes
onto shoulders -
pelting the drenched.

(This poem is the result of three minds piddling in a puddle of words

Hmm...

Lebroz said it made him think of someone left in the rain cold with nowhere to go. I felt pain but the last lines tell me something different, so I'm left to just...no, no, no...I'm still thinking pain. <nods and says damn it> This is fairly simple, saldne. <goes for coffee>

So I'm biased;

Enough left unsaid to let the reader fill in the blanks;

I see someone caught in the rain,

Cold and shivering

No where to go...
