If I could do to you,
What spring does to cherry trees,
what sunlight does to orchid blooms,
I'd keep you in a hot house,
Where the weather never varies,
and yet is filled with sweet perfume.
I'd kiss you till the peel came off.
Our tongues two raw nerves,
Silver night like candle wax,
My hands like rain upon your body,
If I could do to you,
What your name does to me,
I'd remind myself that death is not a barrier
The shortest distance between two hearts
Is memories
My memory... Your memory
two live coals of love

Neruda inspired?

Meh, I suppose the best artists steal. Great images.

Can't say much more...

than what has been said. Good poem. Sexy without being vulgar and nicely worded.
