Clever kisses
Clearer skies
Glass strung kites
Dive drive or die
Useless competion
Between you and you and me
That mythic bamboo curtain
Deceptive light can see
The big bad wolf
The bandit girl
Each know each others way
This haunted jungle forest
Chasing fairy tails
Or elusive spots of sun
Both are ever hungry
For love and lust and light
Some day he says
What with all the running around
We may just set the place on fire
And burn the damn thing down

Sarcastic yet lighthearted at the same time. Not the easiest thing to do I think. I enjoyed the word play.
