Click here[For June, my inspiration, with all my love]
As the golden summer fades,
the memories, like the fellowship,
scattered like leaves upon the grass,
prey to the winds of chance,
it is not just the memories that linger.
We laughed and lusted, and played
as the sun shone in the sky,
and there was joy and doubt,
fear and pleasure, and love
which grew as the tree of life.
Shadows cast by the past join with
the night drawing in around us,
yet out of the laughter and the lust
there shines the light of
the love that we found then.
Fruiting in the darkest time,
it has become the solid and
lasting legacy of those golden days
memories like silken bonds
caressing the nights as we love.
