Click hereIt's not what you think
I did not want it this way
Now we can't be friends
You never saw me
Should you be shocked by all this?
I think not this time
Please understand this
It's not that I don't love you
I can't do this now
The truth, you should know
I have always loved him more
If you love me, go.
I can't really tell what your intention is here: which is something that I like. The poem reads as a collection of lame break up excuses, unthought out and casually spiteful. And on that level it works: it is a mini-compendium in how to be unloveable. I think you've captured this shallowness perfectly.
