I saw her do the dance of loss in rain
As streetlights gleamed above her hair of red
Her eyes were glowing as she cried in pain
Because she made mistakes and was misled.

I saw her do the song of grief in gloom
As echoes of her mourning rang aloud
Her tears continued as she read her doom
Among the scattered remnants of a cloud.

I saw her do her drawings in the sun
As crowds exclaimed about the work she shared
Her hands were steady when her heart was won
By me who never left and always cared.

With faith and trust you never go astray
But if you do true love will win the day.
