Hide behind the shadow mask
Of doubt and self-destruction.
The crowd is sitting; waiting
To see your own erruption.

Hold back the screamign fire;
Rage to blinding to be near.
Drown in the sweat that pours from you;
To sickly sweet to fear.

Blood has flown.
Tears have been shed
And yet, deep inside
you continue to dread.

You're supposed to act,
Supposed to think.
To have a solution
Waiting on the brink.

You're the scapegoat.
They all use
The one they cast aside;
Kicked down and abused.

But all expect
A brilliant performance
From the product of a generation
All thought to be enhanced.

And here we are
Failing in our own misery
All just because
None of you could deal with me.

But I'm still here
Facing you on this stage
'Cuz I'm still willing to see
What shit is written on the next page.

I'm still acting
For all you pieces of shit
Becuase I realize my truth.
I won't quit!

None of you can
Be real at all,
So I'll sit by and
Watch you fall

And all the while
I just wanted to fit in,
But i've seen your outcome
As I wait for your freakshow to begin.
