Embrace the darkness
night becomes you
daylight the angels sing
to our souls of dirt and sorrow

Shine sunlight into my weary pit
we are children of our own circumstances
driven into miry dark waters
of endless night

We seek the edge of dawn
the truth of our existence
a purpose to be; to breath...again

My soul bleeds.....

I like this

a quiet, even sadness that I can appreciate. I would like to see more poetry from you.
