Strangely in the lay
of San Augustine blades,
she moves, thrashing
in the dry heat
with a choke hold
deep inside herself.

Damp heat kneads
his fleshy column
as he wears a bare spot
in the manicured lawn.
Darkness covers the scene
can’t muffle their sound.

The morning grass,
like rumpled sheets,
bear the night signs
in dried white stain
and odd body forms
cast lucidly in grass.

I've read this 4 times!

wonderful use of words! "Damp heat kneads

his fleshy column" nicely done!

And the neighborhood watch

Had to have gotten an eyeful...
