[For June, my inspiration and passion, with love]

In the darkness

shrouded, stranded

out on its vast ocean

alone but for

my thoughts, which swirl

then dwindle

like water as it leaves

the shower,

washed clean, stripped

of all but you

as the night

closes in on me.

Nothingness is still

it seems something

like a billion points

of light conjoining.

At that point

the dark begins the shift

to light

the virgin point

when night and day are neither one

nor yet two

and when you

and I conjoin.

ONE

Le Pointe Vierge.

US

That is all.
