I observed crimson rose petals floating in water.
They were like two lovers drowning,
like love deep in water.

I observe you as you know all too well,
as I just observed. You're just as beautiful
as the crimson rose that sits deep in water
and gazes at the light all day all night,
like a lover gazing out his window.

It looks almost lonely I observed today,
it appears to be doused in sadness,
immersed in water. The flower is saturated
in a sadness of sorts, rather like you are.
I want to give you a flower to show appreciation.

A pair of crimson roses gaze out the window together,
their petals seem to be touching. An odd metaphor to write
this morning, but the light reminds the flowers of the
spectacle outside, of past lives and floral luxuries.

In turn lovers are reminded of their romantic fantasies
as they gaze into the crimson red petals that gaze idly
back at the world, with their strange interpretation of it all.
"I wonder if humans are just as beautiful to them?"

Your scent aroused my senses as I was writing
a love poem, just like the flowers had the day before.
They looked content, and I wished we were flowers
for a while. I wished we were together for a while.

Petals float through the air and rest on the surface
of the water. It was as sad as it was beautiful,
and I paused to stare at them as they moved gently,
causing ripples on the water. They seemed peaceful.

I observed crimson rose petals floating in water,
They were like two lovers drowning,
like love deep in water.
