my sister's home and I must go
she's wandered in from fresh fallen snow
her body trembles and cheeks are aglow
heavy wet clothes removed, we kiss hello
'twixt the sheets our seeds shall we sow
her need is dire but soon all will know
within her now, our love will grow
life comes forth as spring waters flow
roots take hold and shan't winnow
blooming rocks on an alpine tableau

Interesting

Could be a brother-sister relationship. Why the word sew instead of sow?

I enjoyed the poem.

Sigh :)

Thank you, I like it very much.

I won't be able to see my sister until later this year and this poem makes me wistful.
