Life.
We are all born into it
and one day, each and every single
one of us shall die. All the men
and women of today and tomorrow.

Just like our predecessors,
we seek knowledge and we
seek to live. We are all human
and we need to be loved.

There are driving forces in our lives.
We all need a reason to exist. Something
bigger than ourselves to believe in. It can
be religion, or a cause. It can be an
ideology. We all need something. Something
that keeps us going and makes living worthwhile.

None of us are immortal and we each owe God
a death. It is inevitable. It matters not if you are
male or female. You can be black, white, Asian
or biracial. Your sexuality does not matter in this
particular matter. Straight, bisexual or Gay. Death
comes for all. We have a little time before it does.

Let us enjoy it.
Take it one day at a time.
Live and love one another.
We all wake up in the morning
with plans of things to do. Things we
expect to happen or things we want to
happen.

We never stop to consider if today might be
our last day on Earth. The very last day we
can feel anything at all before the inevitable
nothingness.

There are so many ways for an ordinary
man or woman to die. So many bad things
that can happen. Let's just enjoy life. Don't
put things off for later. No one owns tomorrow.
We can only plan and speculate. No one can
do a damned thing about what happened yesterday.

But we might stand a chance for today. The here and
now in which you and I exist. We can reach out for
that which means the most to us. Fulfill this purpose
or that. Find happiness. Embrace that special man
or woman. Be with them. Enjoy them.

In the blink of an eye your world can change and you
can become filled with regret over things undone by
the capricious nature of fate. What can one do in such
a pernicious world ?

I have given this much thought. Some people think this
world is theirs. This world is not mine although not a day
goes by that I don't wish it. I just want someone to
accept me just as I am. Abide with me in this unpredictable
and perilous existence. Finding a love of my own has suddenly
become a priority. But life and love can go just about any way
the wind blows and one can find oneself in dangerous ground.

Just hang in there.

The End.

Existential and tolerant musings

I like your existential musings and even more the tolerant spirit in which it was written. While many would be reluctant to put it under poetry I could not care about labels or definitions. This format clearly brings out a different side of you.

My question to you. How come this life philosophy does not reflect in your erotic stories? At least IMO, pushing as an ONGOING PERMANENT THEME one race presumed superiority over another does not seem to me to be consistent with the content or the spirit of your poem. Just curious to get your view on it.

BTW, to me there is no question that you are not lacking in talent or else you would have been ignored for the same type of writing as many others are...
