You are my perfect match.

I want to hold you gently,
trembling,
apply just a little pressure,
just enough friction
to send a tiny spark
up your spine into the core of
all you long to ignite.

Then watch you burst out sparkling,
gasp in all the immediate oxygen
in a sulphur explosion blush,
then steady your heart,
still your breath

and open your eyes
to glow a clear, warm flame
that will burn brightly
but never consummate
to leave you a scorched,
twisted silhouette
of ashes.

I want to make you shine.
The way you just now
ignited me.
