this my friend is a saga of a kind :
a boy so lost met a girl , rare to find
what she saw in him ,we'll ne'er know
but she decided with him ; old she wanted to grow
so off they pushed , in a frail lil' boat
they wouldn't last long ,Society Cynics did vote
but hold on tightly : to each other they did
Trust'n Understandin' their only need
refused to falter & each other let go .....
pickin' up the other after each brutal blow
frail lil' boat's now a frigate
both know in their heart - 'twas worth the wait
sailin' thru storms 'n passin' thru strife
Ladies 'n Gents we present : Man & Wife !

Ashesh9almost 9 years agoAuthoralso older & taller than the boy [ both are highly educated , highly paid MBAs ] : they fought against the Elders of both families & both communities to get married .
Arpit Roy is an amateur Poet too & this is his take on his own love affair & marriage !
