Precious Discovery

I unearthed a world in recent past
One I’d known, but from since strayed
Not defined by degrees on a map
But alive where hopes and dreams are played

I can go there often now
Letting veracity and honesty abound
And be with the Queen of this locale
So lucky am I that she’s been found

Now I travel on parallel paths
Reality’s tactical flow of action and tasks
And the warm, bright impressions of her
Delighted to be all she asks

I’ll take precious care of this newfound place
Careful not to misplace it again
