tepid tripod
three periscope limbs
supports me
in my struggle
to cling

capture this moment
forever perfection
let celluloid sing
like my every breath
your praise

the slice
a timespan
shorter than fiction
boundless direction
committed to eternity
or the dignified ageing
of a yellowing canvas

hold it
yes
just like that
no wait
higher
yes

and project
your entire soul
into my omniscient eye

later i will
like you asked
declare my entire trust
between your omnipotent lips

and trade
as long as you wish
for this right now
a precious present
fraction of affection
immortalised

In awe

I wish I could write so well.

Great job, Liar. ;-)

Picture perfect

As always Liar, you paint a beautiful picture with your words. You have made that person you had in mind when writing this poem, immortalized in black and white.

Honey

Juxta

I do wish that your pieces had been posted side by side today so that the impact of the juxtaposed realities could be compared. Hopefully your faithful readers, myself included, will sort it all out.

As usual, great work, friend. Part one is so subtle and lulling that part 2 knocks you flat.
