Even in black and white
Your mischievous mystery
Shows though in dark sparks
From upturned eyes
Twisted corners
Of your sarcastic smile
Lines to lead the eye
Lower and down
To downy coven places
Awash and scented
In warm winter passions
That flow in quiet tides
Beneath the frosty outsides

If I could wind
Soft breathe behind your ear
To close your eyes and dream
A little dream of me
I would dance you
A slow long polka
Wrapping sheets as we fly
Around and around
The air between us
Turned midsummer
From our heated heat
Quickening even now
As the sun falls slowly

Your pulse pounds as surf
On the beaches here
Beneath my hands
Soft sand and moss
Clings in wants wonting
Wishing to rise the tides
To be freshly refreshed
In gentle waves
If only if only
They’d go just a little bit harder
Just a little bit longer
Just a little bit higher
The suspense is killing me
To see what treasures they bring
Shiney soft jewels
That fade as they dry
But still linger in the shape of love
