and the slow, slow fingers,
with a conniving stealth
in their unbidden pace,
yet a certain, shy wavering;

barely half-awakened,

NeonSubtletyalmost 13 years agoIf words could be used to percuss a dove commercial, this would be an excellent choice. My only hiccup came with the "barely half-awakened" line which, for whatever reason, stalled a perfect rhythm for me.
