This dance we do,
all fumbling hands,
never eye to eye.
Are we afraid
of what we'll see?
Or what we won't?
Sometimes utterly at ease,
sometimes treading on toes.
Pardon me, excuse me,
I didn't meant to...
Halting, hesitant.
Will we ever get it right?
Move as one?
Is there a rhythm
we both can dance to?
I hope so.
Let's try again.
Music, please.
