Is it slipping away?
Have I done it again,
The same stupid mistakes?
No answer to my pleas.
No sign that she is there.
It has happened before,
This is not a new loss,
But I have tried so hard.
I was told I could trust.
I was told I was loved.
I was told many things.
Which will turn out the truth?
Which will be my new life?
Without her or with her,
I cannot be so sure.
The silence foreboding,
No replies, no message.
I just know I have failed
As I did once before.
But this time I will wait,
I will not give up hope
That there is a reason,
A meaning I don't know.
Waiting and more waiting
Will be my bow to fate.
Without her I can live,
But with her the earth glows.
So no giving up now.
No acceptance of fate.
If this is heard by her,
Perhaps we can resolve
To live our lives in peace.
