Soldier boy soldiers on
Lost track of how many miles he's gone

Soldier boy likes his sorrow
For he knows it will be worse tomorrow

Soldier boy does not cry.
Till date he doesnt know why.

Soldier goes on, never pausing to sit.
Inside him, his heart dies, tiny bit by bit

You do not have to try and be a soldier.
You wanna cry, here cry on my shoulder.
