I do remember you you know
The taste of you in my mouth
As I worked furiously for forgiveness
For all my foolish games
In your ecstasy I was redeemed
Bringing you closer and closer
To your sticky form of salvation
You would cry cry then
In what I thought was love
Then I had purpose and place
In our fragile windchime world
Down between your legs
Bringing a smile to your lips
And then filling them with my desire

I do remember your cold rage
Plates baskets and bottles
Broken on the walls and floors
Your ragfull rage swept in like a storm
And always I prayed to ride it through
From the cape of good hope
To dive in your pacific ocean
Finding myself in rapture of your deep
Playing for pearly pink pearls
With my blind searching tongue
Down downy mound sandy dunes
The soft slope of your hips
Your spice firm in my nose
I would build small castles
Hard and firm against my lips

I do remember your eventual kiss
Pulling me deep deeper to you
Held as anchored abalone to urchin
My firm muscle clung tight and hard
To you as your fist beat upon me
As waves crashing to the shore
I held tight in high tide rise
For the rich wash of love
You would use to cover me
In our riptide torn love lines
Shorn in sheets between us
Driving me under in the togue tide
Hold me hold me down to you

I do remember the words of friends
Telling me to clear back away
One day you would run out of plates
Turning to break me instead
I couldn’t listen
Dancing so close to your fire
Fascinated by the blaze
Now they all ask if I’m not happier
To be free of the pain of your love
I smile a timid smile and nod
But look to my eyes
You are still burning there
Your hands still tear my flesh
Dug in in the love we shared
Never to let me go
