My heart’s torn apart by my rage as it grows
Causing bile to spew out from my mouth and my nose
When the day's news highlights features and shows
A beheading in the name of righteousness

and the skeletal skin that our starving kin wear
as they lie in the dirt by the road with blank stares
make me cry out in shame and tear at my hair
from the impotency I feel to help them

God’s good green earth is rent asunder
Acrid, black smoke left from it’s plunder
As the fat cat’s hold the less fortunate under
In the name of better world trade

It seems god drove off with the sanity train
Leaving mankind slaughter, hunger and pain
He’s not coming back, it won’t help to complain
Adios, god! Thanks for the memories.
