Those damned children
Raw red holes above cheek
Those forsaken corpse walkers
Grotesque parody of meek

Ask them if you can
"What will you do?"
Ask but be wary
"When I'm near you?"

"We leap, we leap."
Their cold answer

Ask them if you can
"And when you are on me?"
Ask but be wary
"How will my soul be?"

"We keep, we keep."
Their cold answer

Ask them if you can
"When you have me down?"
Ask but be wary
"Down on the ground?"

"We eat, we eat."
Their cold answer

Ask them if you can
"When you are then fed?"
Ask but be wary
"When sated what will be said?"

"We sleep, we sleep."
Their cold answer
