I know you want me dead
But I can't help but feel
That I must protect you still

With your hands around my throat
I'll shelter

Your every breath is hate
Flowing out at me
Wretched in rage for my blood

A blade in my turned back
I'll safeguard

Lash out and against all
I'll not turn you away
I'll always be there standing

A bullet for my skull alone
I'll secure
