Its three o’clock.
The door is blocked,
A final firm refusal

To let you think
(Please note the wink)
my minds for your perusal!

Get off that chair!
Go get some air!
Go out and get a hobby!

But for chrissakes
give me a break
and get out of my lobby!

Take this as meant,
as merriment!
But please don’t be mistaken

Thumper’s mom said
‘Just watch your head
Your manners are forsaken!’

Let your opines,
like fancy wine
age in some darkened room.

Keep to yourself
and on the shelf
your egotistic bloom!

Your words insult
And tend to stult
my creativity.

And tho at times
my words do rhyme
they’re not reality!

I too, in fact
Autodidact
I taught myself to listen

Please honor me
and copy me
and there’ll be no more friction!

Amen
