You will find me waiting in the shadows of your heart,
You will find me standing in the rain
Of tears you are creating, when those emotions start
To claw at you and make you crave again;
You will feel my finger, seeking out the pulse,
That keeps you living, breathing and a joy
Whom I will always seek, no matter what the gulf,
By whatever means determines my next ploy;
I will take your need; I will hold it in my hand:
The one that's wrapped so tightly in your hair;
I'll give you direction and assert each soft command,
Restraining you, until you cannot bear
The demands that I'm restating, with that agitated part
You engulf, while I am waiting in the shadows of your heart
