slicing leather down his back
"tell me again"
afraid of her power she
circled
around
sparkling
stained lips parted only as slight
as her disdain.

eyes cast up with urgency
he couldn't speak
afraid of her power he
sensed
anger
radiating
from the crop as she trailed
it against him.

taunting him capriciously with laughter
"tell me again"
afraid of her power she
brought
down
wistfully
her selected instrument as powerfully
as she could.

spasms as agony traveled up
his scream muffled
afraid of her power he
stopped
worrying
feverishly
that perchance this time the pain
would not hurt.
